Parish Council Raises Highway Safety Concerns Following Opening of NWRR

Following ongoing concerns raised by residents regarding highway safety, parking enforcement and pedestrian access following the opening of the Northampton North West Relief Road (NWRR), Harlestone Manor Parish Council has formally written to the Highway Authority outlining a number of key issues affecting the parish. The letter highlights concerns including illegal parking on Poppy Fields Way, the need for increased enforcement activity, pedestrian crossing safety near the NWRR, and a review of parking restrictions across Harlestone Manor and Loxton Fields. The Parish Council has requested that these matters be treated as public safety priorities and has asked for a formal response outlining proposed actions and timescales.
