The nominations process opens this year on 30 March 2021.
Prospective candidates will be required to fill in a nomination form here which must be handed in to the ‘principal authority’. The principal authority for Harlestone Manor is Daventry District Council until 1 April 2021 when it becomes West Northamptonshire unitary council.
Forms must be delivered by hand by the candidate or a trusted person by the deadline of 4pm on 8 April 2021.
A briefing is taking place for anyone thinking of becoming a parish councillor this May. The online briefing session will take place on Wednesday 3 March from 5:30pm. The session, which will be held on Zoom, will cover the nominations process, key electoral information, dates and deadlines as well as setting out important details about the Covid safety measures that will be in place. Those wishing to attend should email electoralservices.ddc@westnorthants.gov.uk or call 01327 302326. The session will be recorded and available on YouTube later for those unable to attend.
